Voice and Sound Meditation is a gentle practice that uses the healing power of the human voice and therapeutic sound instruments to support relaxation, balance, and overall well-being. The session begins with simple vocal practices—toning, mantra chanting, and vocal meditation—designed to open the breath, calm the mind, and awaken the body’s natural resonance. Participants are then immersed in the soothing vibrations of instruments such as Tibetan singing bowls, tuning forks and chimes. These sounds encourage the nervous system to release stress, support mental clarity, and invite a state of deep rest and renewal. Many people leave feeling refreshed, grounded, and more connected to themselves.
Comfortable layered clothing is recommended.

HyeJin Yu is a sound practitioner, voice and sound meditation guide, and founder of Ground in Sound. Trained in vibrational sound therapy, Yoga of the Voice from Silvia Nakkach’s Vox Mundi School, and certified in Integrative Sound and Music from the New York Open Center as well as Song & Chant Leadership through Heather Houston’s Sisters in Harmony, she weaves together vocal meditation, chants, and healing sound to support balance and renewal. With warmth and compassion, HyeJin guides participants in reconnecting with themselves and awakening their own inner capacity for healing.
